Eliana Berger is the co-founder and CEO of Joyful Health, an AI startup transforming the financial operations of healthcare. Prior to founding Joyful Health, she held product management roles at high-growth startups, including the mental health company Charlie Health.

Patricia is a product manager at Thatch, where she cultivates tools to help employers navigate and implement ICHRA. She previously worked as a Solutions Architect at Stripe on key and strategic deals, and won regional and team awards for her work. Patricia's background is in software engineering at companies including Etsy and Apple.

In her free time, she enjoys studying ancient Greek and Roman history. And yes, she does think about the Roman empire every day.

Karun is a solutions engineer at Thatch, where he's helped employers evaluate and adopt Thatch's ICHRA solution. Before transitioning to customer-facing roles, he spent two years building Thatch’s core product offerings. Karun brings deep health tech experience from his time at Verily (part of Alphabet), where he built chronic care management point solutions.

When he's not working with customers, you can find him rooting for another Celtics championship or out for a run along the Charles River.

Bruce Johnson is Head of Policy at Thatch, where he leads the company’s efforts to shape the future of healthcare regulation. He has fifteen years experience in law and public policy, with particular expertise in the regulatory frameworks governing financial services, labor and employment, and employer health benefits. Bruce previously served as Director, Federal Affairs for Boeing, a global aerospace manufacturer, and Assistant General Counsel for Policy at Brex, a leading b2b fintech focused on simplifying expense management for companies as they scale. At Brex, Bruce also served as Chairman of the Financial Technology Association, where he worked directly with other innovative fintechs to shape policy affecting the financial services industry. His work with Brex and the FTA earned Bruce recognition by Washingtonian magazine as one of the most influential people shaping policy. 

Bruce is a veteran of the House Financial Services Committee staff and the United States Air Force. He holds a law degree from Georgetown Law and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy. In his free time, Bruce enjoys watching and collecting blu-ray discs and spending more time than reasonable on home DIY projects.

Dima Goncharov is the Co-Founder and CEO of Metriport, an open-source platform transforming healthcare data exchange. With a background as a software engineer, Dima has built everything from aerospace and defense mission systems to highly available cloud database services at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Prior to launching Metriport in 2021, he worked on Amazon Aurora, contributing to its reputation as a reliable and performant database platform. Dima’s passion for transparent, secure, and accessible health data solutions is evident in Metriport’s mission and the APIs they’ve developed for seamless medical record retrieval. Dima holds a Diploma of Technology in Computer Systems Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is an alumnus of Y Combinator’s S22 cohort. Now based in San Francisco, he leads Metriport’s efforts to modernize and open up healthcare interoperability for providers everywhere.

Colin Elsinga is the Co-Founder and COO of Metriport, an open-source healthcare data interoperability platform. A software engineer by training, Colin brings hands-on experience developing consumer health apps and previously worked for an online health retailer in Vancouver. Driven by a vision to simplify and modernize healthcare record access for providers and patients, he leads the operational direction and product strategy at Metriport. Colin and his long-time friend Dima Goncharov whom he met in middle school nearly 20 years ago & joined forces in late 2021, leaving their engineering roles to collaborate on Metriport’s landmark solutions. Colin is also an alumnus of Y Combinator’s S22 batch and is based in San Francisco, building state-of-the-art APIs and open-source tools that empower healthcare organizations to deliver timely, effective care with instant access to comprehensive patient medical histories.

Wynda Clayton knows what makes documentation hold up under scrutiny because she spent years reviewing it for CMS. As a former RADV auditor, she examined medical records for Medicare Advantage plans under federal review. She saw which organizations passed and which faced clawbacks. More importantly, she learned to recognize the documentation patterns that separated them long before a final determination came down. After transitioning to health plan operations, she led teams through RADV audits from the other side. Dr. Natalie E. McGann, D.O., is a board-certified family physician with a longstanding commitment to community-based care and clinical leadership. She currently practices at TriValley Primary Care in Telford, PA, where she also serves as a shareholder and holds key leadership roles, including Executive Committee Member and Clinical Chair of Strategy & Operations.

Dr. McGann earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Practice Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital, where she was named Chief Resident. Following her residency, she joined the Abington Family Medicine Residency Program as a faculty member, contributing to resident education from 2010 to 2014.

Vishnu is a senior data scientist at firsthand, a company creating an in-person, peer-driven model for recovery from serious mental illness. As firsthand’s first data hire, he has helped scale the company’s impact to multiple states and thousands of individuals. With 6+ years of experience across clinical, claims, and medical imaging, Vishnu is passionate about realizing the power of data in healthcare.

Dhruv is a healthcare technologist with over ten years of experience building products that solve critical problems for patients living with complex conditions, and the care teams that support them. Dhruv is currently SVP Product at firsthand, a tech-enabled services business that engages and navigates individuals on Medicaid living with persistent Serious Mental Illnesses via a peer-led care team. Prior to firsthand Dhruv led product, UX, and data analytics at PatientPing, the nation's leading care coordination platform, through its acquisition and integration by Appriss Health. Dhruv also shipped mobile, biosensor, and data platform products to power the first decentralized clinical trials at Medidata ($MDSO), a global provider of clinical research technology. 

Dhruv is an active angel investor in early stage healthcare startups and on the board of the Caregiver Action Network.

‍Julia is a product manager with experience working with early startups like Memora Health and Tendo and health systems like PennMed and CHOP to uncover opportunities from user research and define new products. Julia is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Informatics Management at Stanford School of Medicine. Julia also has a Master’s in Integrated Product Design and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

I’ve worked in healthcare since 1996. Spent 6 years in the provider and rev cycle side, 10 years at payors Aetna, United, and Regence BCBS. Earned my MBA in 2012 and after that, I worked in Rev Cycle Consulting, and then Venture Capital. Ran a 20,000 life self-funded Taft-Hartley plan. In 2018, I Co-Founded my first company called Decent, building an entire health plan from scratch in under 12 months. In 2021, I re-started my consulting company, Formidable Nerd. Zero Card in 2022 building a national bundled services network. In 2023, I co-founded Bramble and became its CEO. Turquoise Health acquired Bramble in 2024, where I currently serve as General Manager.

In addition - I have been a certified professional coder, I have worked with 30+ startups on GTM and business development plans, I have been working on Value-based contracts since 2008, and am passionate about creating efficiency in healthcare. I am truly here to help you disrupt, create, and ultimately improve the way healthcare works in the US. 

Over the past eight years, I've been deeply immersed in the digital health sector, focusing on business development roles with a primary emphasis on selling to health systems and payors. Today, I play a key role in leading a national provider contract with payors at various levels. Throughout the country, I've worked on both fee-for-service and value-based contracts, guiding them from the initial phone call through presentation, negotiation, and finalizing signed contracts. As a co-creator of this course, my goal is to provide a resource that I wish I had during my journey—a tool to quickly get up to speed and avoid unnecessary mistakes, ultimately accelerating your development in payor contracting.

Neelesh has been in the medical device industry since 2010 working across sales, marketing, product management, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs. He has successfully sold to non-profit health systems, for-profit health systems, the VA Healthcare System, and private medical practices.

His company Bayside Operations Technology deploys service robots to healthcare systems and national senior living organizations, and previously sold startup medical devices and supplies into VA hospitals. During the pandemic, he built an end-to-end vetted PPE supply chain which responsibly provided PPE to state hospitals and governments.

He lives on the immediate left side of the Hudson River (a.k.a. New Jersey) with his wife and baby, and estimates that Coke Zero is at least 10% of his bloodstream.

Matt has been working in medical device commercialization since 2008. Matt started his career at Zimmer where he became the youngest Director of Sales. In 2018, Matt started a sales consulting firm with the goal of helping European medical device startups enter the US-market.

Today, Matt serves as the CEO of Clozex Medical, a medical device company in the wound space. Matt resides in Massachusetts with his wife and young children. In his spare time, he focuses on family activities and loves making his own wine!

Ranga Yarlagadda is an accomplished leader in the pharma/biotech therapeutics space with a knack for tackling high stakes projects – from leading commercialization efforts to navigating complex deals and strategic partnerships.He currently leads Corporate Affairs and Business Development at a cell therapy company creating off-the-shelf therapies for blood disorders. Prior to this, he spent time at Rain Oncology and Stratus Therapeutics as Chief of Staff to the CEO where he led all aspects of commercialization, business development, and company growth initiatives. In his previous life he spent a decade at Amgen navigating x-functional groups and leading teams across market insights, competitive intelligence and forecasting/analytics.Ranga has a Bachelors in Biology from BITS Pilani, India and Masters in Business/Bioscience from the Keck Graduate Institute at Claremont Colleges.

Shruti is GTM leader in biopharma partnerships. Her experiences ranges from in-house at Biopharma (portfolio mgmt infra @ Novartis, commercial planning @ Gilead) to external to Biopharma (market access consulting for life sciences and sales/BD for early stage Cos looking to commercialize to pharma). She spent most of her career at Flatiron Health, owning and growing major biopharma partnerships. She is currently building a company in the AI for life sciences space.Shruti has a BS in Biology from Stanford and MBA/MPH from UC Berkeley. She lives in San Francisco.
